Dr Jessica Ball

Jess qualified as a doctor in the UK from the Manchester School of Medicine in 2006 before she travelled to NZ to work as a house surgeon in North Shore, Auckland 2009-2011. She returned to the UK to complete her GP training  in 2014 where she developed an interest in elderly care, palliative care and community diabetes management. She believes wholly in patient-centred and more recently has become interested in lifestyle medicine and it’s application within General Practice.

As mum of 2 young children herself she also enjoys supporting families through their own parenting journeys. She returned to Christchurch in 2020 with her kiwi husband and 2 young children, with whom she enjoys exploring the outdoor lifestyle NZ has to offer; particularly tramping, cycling and stand up paddle boarding.
